WCI believes in empowering widows and other vulnerable women so that they can provide for themselves and their families. We believe in a saying that “teach a man how to fish so that she can fish for herself”. Realizing that most of the widows and other vulnerable women don’t have income generating activities and yet they have families to care for everyday,
WCI offers them an opportunity to start up their own small businesses and start earning. With a package of basic business skills and startup small loans, the women are able to run their own income generating activities and the income/profits earned are used to provide food, medical care and other day to day basic needs to their families. With a small startup loan as low as $20, you can help a widow get her small business going.
